I work as a Cloud Software Engineer with Siemens, focused on building reliable, efficient systems that are easy to maintain and operate.
My recent work has focused on refactoring Java services to make them more reliable, easier to evolve, and better aligned with long-term multi-cloud goals. That has involved moving toward more modular code, clearer domain boundaries, and hexagonal-style architectural patterns, while also improving everyday maintainability through better abstractions and stricter standards.
A lot of that work has been about performance and systems thinking: tracing bottlenecks, reworking concurrency and event-driven flows, and replacing inefficient patterns with proven approaches such as caching and more deliberate queue design. I’ve re-architected services in Go and Java to better support concurrent processing, and worked through issues around SQS configuration and message handling to remove real throughput constraints.
